Additional Kayak Panel FRUs
Additional Kayak Panel FRUs
Several Control Panel components have been added to the list of FRUs (Field
Replaceable Units) to reduce panel returns and lower shipping costs for the
user.
CAUTION Before disassembling panels and replacing parts in a Kayak control panel,
refer to Safety Summary on page 17 .
The following instructions describe replacing FRUs (Field Replaceable
Units) for Kayak control panels.
This information applies to the Kayak 2-M/E and 3-M/E control panels.
The following is a list of additionally supported 2-M/E FRUs:
• Panel CPU board
• Menu display board
• Keyboard 1
• Keyboard 2
• Keyboard 3
• Fan (panel, cpl.), 5 VDC 40x40x20mm
• Joystick
• Lever arm
• Ribbon cable harness
• CF cards (programmed), 128M/512M
The following is a list of additionally supported 3-M/E FRUs:
• Panel CPU board
• Menu Display board
• XPT Switch board (Left)
• XPT Switch board (Center)
• Lever Transition board
• Key/Delegate Switch board
• Fan (panel, cpl.), 5 VDC 40x40x20mm
• Joystick
• Lever arm
• Ribbon cable harness
• CF cards (programmed), 512M
