Section 4 — Maintenance
Replacing the Menu Display Board (2-M/E and 3-M/E)
To replace the Menu Display board, complete the following steps:
1. Remove the four Menu Display soft knobs by pulling straight up as
shown in
Figure 124 .

2. Carefully separate the top of the control panel enclosure from the
bottom (see
Removing the Top of the Control Panel Enclosure on page 168 ).
3. Disconnect the ribbon cables from Crosspoint Switchboards 1 and 2
(RY4530), Transition Switchboard (RY4520), and from the Display
Board (RY4540) (see
Figure 125 for Menu Display Board location).

4. Disconnect Joystick cable (J4) from the Transition Board .
