Connecting to the LINE 3 DIGITAL IN (OPTICAL) Jack
Connect a digital satellite receiver or similar device to the LINE 3 DIGITAL IN jack and i LINE 3/
DECODER jack of this recorder, and set “Line 3 Input” to “Optical In” in the “Audio” setup (page 120).
You can enjoy digital sound from the connected speakers.
b Notes
• Audio signals from the i LINE 3/DECODER jack are recorded even when “Line 3 Input” is set to “Optical In” in
the “Audio” setup.
• The “A/V SYNC” does not effect when connecting to the LINE 3 DIGITAL IN (OPTICAL) jack. Set the “A/V
SYNC” or corresponding function of your set top box receiver. Refer to the instruction manual supplied with the set
top box receiver.
