Appendix F the Rules of Using Variable

Variables must be declared by Variable Declaration component before

you access them. But, there are two exceptional cases as follows.

Case

1)

Push Job or Bridge components’ variables will be declared
automatically. For example Channel-1 is waiting for the Job or Bridge
with an ID. When Channel-2 pushes the Job or Bridge with the same
ID and variable, those variables will be copied (created) to Channle-1.

Case 2)
Bridge Result component’s variables will be created automatically on
bridging channel.

SIPVIR 6800 provides three levels variables — Flow wide, Channel wide

and Call wide:

Flow

level

Variables declared after Flow Start components. Only one copy of
variable will be shard for same call flow. Those variables will be
created when first call flow is loaded and removed when last call flow
is unloaded.
Flow level variables are visible for all channel and calls running same
call flow.

Channel

level

Variables declared after Channel Start component. Each channel has
its own copy of variables. Those variables will be created when the
channel is started and removed when the channel is stopped.

Channel level variables are visible for all calls on this channel.

Call

level

Variables declared after Start components. Each call has its own copy
of variables. Those variables will be removed when call is in idle state.
Call level variables are only visible for each call.

Variables re-declaration is NOT allowed in whole system wide.
Variable name is case-sensitively.
