DHCP test configuration example

Network requirements

As shown in

Figure 8

, configure NQA DHCP tests to test the time required for Router A to obtain an IP

address from the DHCP server (Router B).

Configuration procedure

# Create a DHCP test group and specify interface GigabitEthernet 3/1/1 to perform NQA DHCP tests.

<RouterA> system-view

[RouterA] nqa entry admin test

[RouterA-nqa-admin-test] type dhcp

[RouterA-nqa-admin-test-dhcp] operation interface GigabitEthernet 3/1/1

# Enable the saving of history records.

[RouterA-nqa-admin-test-dhcp] history-record enable

[RouterA-nqa-admin-test-dhcp] quit

# Start DHCP tests.

[RouterA] nqa schedule admin test start-time now lifetime forever

# Stop DHCP tests after a period of time.

[RouterA] undo nqa schedule admin test

# Display the results of the last DHCP test.

[RouterA] display nqa result admin test

NQA entry (admin admin, tag test) test results:
