You can magnify the image and focus precisely with MF (manual focus).

Set the lens’s focus mode switch
to <MF>.

Turn the lens’s focusing ring to focus
roughly.

Display the magnifying frame.

Press the <

u

> button or tap on [

]

on the screen’s lower right.

The magnifying frame will appear.

Move the magnifying frame.

Either operate <

> or tap on the

spot you want to magnify to move the
magnifying frame to where you want
to focus.

Pressing <

button will return the magnifying
frame to the screen center.

Magnify the image.

Each time you press the <

or tap on [

] on the screen’s lower

right, the display will change in the
following sequence:

While in magnified view, you can
operate <

directional wedges displayed on the
top, bottom, left, or right of the screen
to scroll around the magnified image.
