2.2.2 Requirements for Central Station Fire Alarm
Systems
1. Use both phone lines. Enable phone line monitors for both lines.
2. You must program a phone number and a test time so that the 5820XL sends an
automatic daily test to the central station.
3. The AC Loss Hours option must be set from 1-3 hours.
4. The Attempts to Report option must be set for 5.
2.2.3 Requirements for Local Protected Fire Alarm
Systems
At least one UL listed supervised notification appliance must be used.
2.2.4 Requirements for Remote Station Protected Fire
Alarm Systems
1. Do not exceed the current draw load restrictions shown in Section 3.6.
2. The AC Loss Hours option must be set from 15-30 hours.
