Replacing the Clean Roller Plate (D900102) (continued)
Steps Procedure
8 Slide the Card Drive Gear (810266) off of the Cleaning Roller Shaft.
Caution: Use caution when sliding the Gear past the Encoder Wheel.
If the Encoder Wheel is damaged in any way, it must be replaced. See replacing
the Encoder Wheel.
9 Remove the Wave Washer (130951).
10 Use a Small Flathead Screwdriver to gently pry the Roller Shaft Locking Bushing
arm (D900046) out about 2mm
11 Rotate the Roller Locking Shaft Bushing Counter Clockwise 1/8 of a turn.
12 Remove the Roller Shaft Locking Bushing.
13 Pull out the Cleaning Roller (D900040).
14 Replace the Card Clean Roller (D900040). See Replacing the Card Clean Roller
(D900040) (left of Platen) and the Card Drive Gear (810266) .
Caution: Be sure to add the retaining clip (140062) to the new
Cleaning Roller before it is inserted into the Printer.
15 Reverse to re-assemble.
