To remove the hard disk

Attach one end of a grounding strap to your wrist and the other end to a grounded metal
surface.

Remove the two screws that attach the hard disk assembly to the main unit. See the figure

Lift the hard disk and hard disk bracket from the main unit and place them on a flat, clean,
static-free surface.

Caution: Do not use an electric or magnetized screwdriver near the hard disk. You

can lose the information stored on the disk. Shock can damage the hard disk. Do not

drop or hit the hard disk.
