The syntax for this command is:

set spantree max-age <seconds>

Example:

set spantree priority

User level: read-write, admin.
Use the set spantree priority command to set the bridge priority for STP.

The syntax for this command is:

set spantree priority

<bridge_priority>

Example:

set spantree tx-hold-count

User level: read-write, admin.
Use the set spantree tx-hold-count command to limit the maximum
number of BPDUs transmitted during a hello-time period.

The syntax for this command is:

set spantree tx-hold-count <rate>

max-age

The max age time in seconds to keep message information before it is
discarded. Value ranges between 6 to 40; value must be between 2 X
(Bridge-Hello-Time + 1) and 2 X (Bridge-Forward-Delay - 1).
Recommended value is 20 sec.

C460-1# set spantree max-age 20

bridge max age is set to 20.

bridge_priority

Number representing the priority of the bridge with a priority
level from 0 to 65535.
0 indicates high priority and 65535 indicates low priority.

C460-1# set spantree priority 4096

Bridge priority set to 4096.

rate

Value between 1 to 10; recommended value is 3
