3. Input the value of the first standard at the prompt. No matter how many calibration points you

are using, the first standard should always be 0 ug/L.

4. Press Enter and the current values of all enables sensors will appear on the screen and change

with time as they stabilize in the solution.

5. Activate the wiper 1-2 times by pressing 3-Clean Optics as shown on the screen, to remove any

bubbles. Be sure to observe the wiper during these cycles to assure that it is rotating and
parking (180 degrees from optics) correctly.

6. Observe the readings. After stabilization is complete, press Enter to confirm the calibration.

The display will indicate if the calibration is accepted.

7. Press Enter again, as instructed on the screen. If a 2- or 3-point calibration was chosen, rinse

the ADV6600 in water and dry the sonde before proceeding with the next turbidity standard,
following the same steps as outlined above.

4-7. Establishing Default Calibration – “UNCAL”

Command

If it is required to return a Water Quality sensor to the factory default settings for calibration (slope
and offset), follow the instructions below:

1. Activate a calibration for the parameter you wish to return to its factory default setting. Any

calibration (1-point, 2-point, or 3-point) for the parameter may be selected.

2. When a numerical entry is requested, either the value of the first standard or mmHg for

dissolved oxygen, instead of entering a numeric value, type the word uncal and press Enter.

Both slope and offset for the parameter will be returned to the factory default settings
