5.4.1. POE Connect
A. Setup
 Class: You can select the power class for the DUT here. The power class available for APMPT-4 is
listed in the table down below.
The above power class definitions in the table are given by the 802.3af and 802.3at standards.
Xtramus Technologies provides two kinds of PD simulation modules to the customers, namely
XM-2LE2A and XM-2LE2T series modules, supporting a maximum power consumption of 45W. For
class 0-3, the maximum power consumption is up to 18W.For class 4, the maximum power
consumption is depending on the model of the XM-2LE2T modules, which is the maximum power
input of the corresponding module. The model of the PD simulation module and its maximum power
input are given as follows:
