Controlling the Generation of Events
Some applications may require that only some points should generate events.

Other applications may require that all configured points should generate events.
The gateway offers considerable flexibility for event control. You can control how

events will be generated at 3 different levels:
1 Application Level (all configured points)

2 Data Type Level (all configured points of specific ASDU type)

3 Point Level (each individual point)

General Events (All Points)
You can control how frequently the gateway will scan the database for events

using the following configuration parameter:

If this parameter is set to 0, the gateway will not generate events for any points.

A non-zero value will configure how frequently the gateway will scan for events in

the database.
