Separate parameters exist for each monitored point type and define whether or
not events of that particular point type will be generated by the gateway. If the
Scan Events parameter is set to zero [0] or N O S CANNING , then events will not be
generated. If this parameter is set to [1] or S CAN FOR E VENTS , events will be
scanned and generated on data change.
