If your controller is in Pad mode (default mode), the right display contains a mapping matrix

showing the name and color of the Sound played by each pad. You can adjust the base key for
the selected pad by pressing buttons 5-8.

At the bottom of the left display you can access two Parameter pages for Knob 1–4. To select a

Parameter page, use the Page buttons at the left of the displays.

Fixed Velocity

(Knob 1)

Here you can adjust the velocity value used in the Fixed
Velocity mode.

Using 16 Velocities and Fixed Velocity Options

When using the controller in Pad mode, you can apply either of two additional options which
support your playing in specific situations.

The Fixed Velocity option is available when your pads are in Pad mode (default mode) or

Keyboard mode. With this option enabled, your pads play at the same volume no matter
how hard you hit the pads. To enable the Fixed Velocity option, press

FIXED VEL

. Press

again to disable.

In 16 Velocities mode your pads all play the same note of the focused Sound but with six-

teen different velocity values. This can be useful to play or program complex drum fills.
The right display indicates the velocity values for each pad (all are shown in the color of
