Replacing the
Consumables
Replace the pick roller unit in following procedure.

Turn off the scanner and wait for at least 15 minutes.
For details, refer to "1.3 Turning the Power ON/OFF" (page 19) .

Unplug the power cable.

Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute
(feeder).

Open the ADF cover.
For details, refer to "1.4 Opening/Closing the ADF" (page 20) .

Remove the pick roller unit.
1 Rotate the bushing until it clicks in the direction of the arrow.
2 Move it to the right while holding the busing, and remove it towards
you.
6.3 Replacing the Pick Roller Unit
When the ADF cover is open, it might close
accidentally. Be careful not to get your
fingers caught.
