The following are lists of device errors which require troubleshooting by a service engineer.

times Lights up An optical error (ADF front or
flatbed) occurred. 1 Clean the glass sections or the document bed.
For details, refer to "Chapter 5 Daily Care" (page 50) .
2 Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem persists, write down the status of the LED indicator and the
[Power] button and contact the distributor/dealer where you purchased this
product.

times Lights up An optical error (ADF back)
occurred.

times Lights up A flatbed motor error occurred. Turn the scanner off then back on.
