Attach a new pick roller unit.
1 Insert the end of the shaft into the slot while holding the bushing, and
insert the other end to the left.
2 Rotate the bushing until it clicks in the direction of the arrow.

Close the ADF cover.

Plug the power cable, and turn on the scanner.
For details, refer to "1.3 Turning the Power ON/OFF" (page 19) .

Reset the sheet counter in the Software Operation Panel.
For details, refer to "Resetting the Sheet Counters" (page 103) .
ATTENTION
Check that the pick roller unit is attached properly. Otherwise, it
may cause feeding errors such as paper jams.
