Basic Operations
■ For Macintosh users
The Panasonic KX-PS8100 has two scanner drivers, TWAIN as well as
Photoshop Plug-in. Perform the following depending upon the scanner
driver.
To use the TWAIN scanner driver:
1 Start Mac OS.
2 Run your TWAIN compliant application.
3 Click the File menu, and click Import.
4 Click Twain Acquire..., and go to step 5.
The Panasonic Scanner Driver and the Preview Screen are
displayed.
To use the Photoshop Plug-in scanner driver:
1 Start Mac OS.
2 Run your Photoshop Plug-in compliant application.
3 Click the File menu, and click Import.
4 Click KX-PS8100 Scanner....
The Panasonic Scanner Driver and the Preview Screen are
displayed.
5 Place the document(s) in the ADF tray or on the scanner
glass (
see page 187 - 188 ).
6 Click [Prescan] to display the document image in the
Preview Screen and select a scanning area.
7 Click [Scan] .
The scanner will start scanning the document(s).
