6 Adjust the media guides to the media size.
7 Use the printer driver to select the multi-purpose tray.
8 When using transparency with leading tape:
Remove the tape after printing. (

To load an envelope in the multi-purpose tray:
Do not insert more than one envelope at a time. Only black text can be
printed on envelopes. For more detailed information,
see “ ■ Envelopes” on
page 294 .
1 Set the media thickness switch ( see page 52 ).
2 Adjust the media guides to the width of the envelope.
3 Insert the envelope with the short end entering the
printer first and the printing side facing up.
The edge where the stamp will be located enters the printer first.
NOTE: NOTE:
• When wrinkle occurs, try printing with the envelope flap tucked in
as shown below.
4 From your computer, use the printer driver to choose
Envelope from the Paper Size menu and Paper
Source menu.
