properly connected. Connect the SCSI
cable.
SCSI ID No. or
terminator switch is
not set correctly. Set the SCSI ID No.
or terminator switch
correctly.
SCSI-2 board is not
compatible. Use a recommended
SCSI-2 board.
Software may not be
installed. Install the software.
Scanned image is dirty. Original document is
dirty. Clean the document.
Scanner glass is dirty. Clean the scanner
glass.
One or both ends of
image is/are not
scanned. Document is not
positioned correctly. Reposition the
document correctly
according to the size.
Scanned image is
blurred or partially
colored. Document is not
evenly set on the
scanner glass. Set the document
evenly.
Scan quality is bad. You may not be using
the software utility
correctly. Consult the Utilities
and Drivers
Reference Guide.
Condensation has
occurred. Leave the unit for 4 or
5 hours.
