ADF doesn’t feed
document. Document thickness
is out of
specifications. Scan the document
by placing it on the
scanner glass.
Too many documents
are inserted in the
ADF tray. The height of
document should not
exceed the limit mark
on the document
guide.
Scanned image has
vertical lines when a
document is scanned
using the ADF. ADF scanner glass or
white sheet is dirty. Clean the ADF
scanner glass and
white sheet.
Scanned image is
skewed when a
document is scanned
using the ADF. Document guides are
not adjusted correctly. Adjust the guides
according to the width
of the document.
Scanned image is blank
when a document is
scanned using the ADF. Document is inserted
face down. Insert the document
face up.
Service Error is
displayed on the
scanner LCD panel. An internal error has
occurred. Turn the scanner off
and on 2-3 times. If
the error persists, call
for service.
