Using the LCD Monitor
Improved LCD backlight transmission makes the picture extra
bright. In addition, special coating of the LCD’s surface diffuses
the light from outside to minimize light reflection, so the picture
has vivid colours and is easy to see.

Slide the [ LOPEN] Lever to the left and
simultaneously open the LCD Monitor in the
direction of the arrow approximately 90uuuuu.

Turn the LCD Monitor back toward the Movie
Camera body until it locks with a click.
¡ The picture seen on the LCD Monitor looks slightly stretched
vertically, however, the actually recorded picture remains
unaffected by this.
¡Return the LCD Monitor to its vertical position before closing
it. Also, make sure that the Cassette Compartment is
securely closed before closing the LCD Monitor.
¡Opening the LCD Monitor automatically turns the Finder off.
However, when you turn the LCD Monitor so that is faces
forward, the Finder turns on again.
¡Extremely high precision technology is employed in
producing the LCD Monitor. The result is more than 99.99%
effective pixels with a mere 0.01% of the pixels inactive or
always lit. However, this is not a malfunction and does not
affect the recorded picture.
¡When the Movie Camera is very cold when turning it on, the
picture on the LCD Monitor is darker than normally. However,
as it reaches normal temperature, it regains its normal
brightness.
¡To remove fingerprints, wipe the LCD Monitor with a soft
cloth.
¡Do not expose the LCD Monitor to direct sunlight. When
sunlight falls onto the LCD Monitor, it may be difficult to view
the picture.
¡Do not apply any pressure to the surface of the LCD Monitor
or subject it to strong shocks.
¡Before transporting the Movie Camera, securely close the
LCD Monitor.

Fate scorrere verso sinistra la leva [ LOPEN] e
contemporaneamente aprite il Monitor LCD, in
direzione della freccia, di circa 90°.

Ruotate il Monitor LCD verso il corpo della
movie, fino a che non si blocca con uno scatto.
¡L’immagine visualizzata dal Monitor LCD apparirà
leggermente allungata in senso verticale. Questo non ha
alcuna influenza sulle immagini effettivamente registrate, che
saranno assolutamente corrette.
¡Prima di chiudere il Monitor LCD, riportatelo in posizione
verticale e accertatevi che il vano cassetta sia ben chiuso.
¡L’apertura del Monitor LCD spegne automaticamente il
mirino. Il mirino si riaccende se il Monitor LCD viene girato in
avanti.
¡Il Monitor LCD è stato costruito con tecnologie di altissima
precisione. Come risultato si sono ottenuti più del 99,99% di
pixel attivi, con meno dello 0,01% di pixel inattivi o sempre
accesi. La presenza di eventuali pixel inattivi o sempre
accesi non è indice di funzionamento difettoso e non
influenza in alcun modo le immagini registrate.
¡Se, al momento dell’accensione, la movie è particolarmente
fredda, le immagini sul Monitor LCD sono più scure del
normale. Tuttavia, non appena viene raggiunta la temperatura
normale, il Monitor LCD torna alla normale luminosità.
¡Per togliere eventuali impronte digitali, pulite il Monitor LCD
con un panno morbido.
¡Non esponete il Monitor LCD alla luce solare diretta: il
riflesso potrebbe rendere difficile la visione delle immagini.
¡Evitate che il Monitor LCD subisca urti e che la sua
superficie venga compressa in alcun modo.
¡Prima di trasportare la movie, accertatevi che il Monitor LCD
sia ben chiuso.
