OA administrator

Restrictions:

o

The SHA-224 hash algorithm may not work with some web browsers without the latest encryption
libraries.

o

When the Onboard Administrator is operating in FIPS Mode, the minimum RSA key length is 2048
bits, and the signature hash algorithm must be SHA1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512.

PING

Command:
PING [IPv6 [INTERNAL]] [<number>] {ip address> | "<server name>"}

Description:

o

Sends ICMP echo messages to a remote IP device.

o

If INTERNAL is specified, the command tries to reach only those hosts internal to the enclosure (iLO

or interconnect management interfaces only).

o

If <number> is omitted, then only four packets are sent. If <number> is zero, then the command

attempts to trace the network route to the host (IPv4 only).

o

Specify an IPv4 address in the form ###.#i##.###.###, where each ### ranges from 0 to 255.

o

Specify an IPv6 address in the form ####:####:####:####:####:####:####:####, where
each #### ranges from 0 to FFFF.

o

Packets are sent out at one-second intervals to prevent strain on the network.

Restrictions:

o

The <number> value cannot be greater than 9999 or negative. A <number> greater than 9999

results in an error or four packets being sent. A negative number results in an error.

SET DEVICE SERIAL_NUMBER BLADE

Command:
SET DEVICE SERIAL_NUMBER BLADE <bay number> "<serial number>"

Description:
Sets the serial number of the specified Storage, Tape, or I/O expansion blade.

Access level/Bay level:
OA administrator

Restrictions:

o

Length must be 10 characters. All printable characters are allowed.

o

This operation cannot be performed on server blades.
