Configuring Your Reader

Scanner Setup Commands
•
Scanner Type. You determine the type of reader you are using.
Entering the <Zp> command will save the current setting for
Scanner Type to NOVRAM.

Scans per Second. The scan occurs in 10 millisecond increments.
You can use any number between 30 and 55. The default is 50.

Auto Gain Control. Gain adjustment can be any number from 10
to 255. The default is 45.
Before saving any changes to Gain Adjustment, first record the
