Revive Snapshot Virtual Disk

Description

This command forces a specified snapshot virtual disk to the Optimal state. The snapshot virtual disk can be:

A standalone snapshot virtual disk

A snapshot virtual disk that is a member of a consistency group

If the snapshot virtual disk is not in a Failed state, the firmware displays an error message and does not run this
command.

NOTE: You cannot use this command for a snapshot virtual disk that is used in online virtual disk copy.

Syntax

revive snapVirtualDisk [snapVirtualDiskName]

Parameter

Parameter

Description

snapVirtualDisk

The alphanumeric identifier (including - and _) of the
snapshot virtual disk that you want to set to the Optimal
state. Enclose the snapshot virtual disk identifier in square
brackets ([ ]).

Save Enclosure Log Data

Description

This command saves the enclosure log sense data to a file. Log sense data is maintained by the environmental cards for
each enclosure. Not all of the environmental cards contain log sense data.

Syntax

save allEnclosures logFile="filename"

Parameter

Parameter

Description

logFile

Name of the file to which to save the log sense data. You
must put quotation marks (" ") around the file name.
