Jumpers and Connectors
This section provides specific information about the system jumpers and
describes the connectors on the various boards in the system.
System Board Jumpers
CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered
by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the
product.
Figure 6-1 shows the location of the configuration jumpers on the system board.
Table 6-1 lists the jumper settings.
NOTE:
To access the jumpers, remove the center fans and the center fan bracket.
