Please note the following requirements:
The servo amplifier must not be enabled (ENABLE = 0).
The mains voltage must be switched off.
The commissioning software PDrive must have been launched.
Set the basic parameter settings
1. In the project window, select
Setup -> Basic Setup
.
The "Basic Setup" window appears.
This contains information about the servo amplifier (hardware,
firmware, serial number, operating hours).
2. Change the entries for the mains voltage and servo amplifier.
If necessary, you can change the following fields, for example:
–
Name
: Identification for servo amplifier
–
Maximum mains voltage
: 230 V, 400 V or 480 V

Select motor from motor database
1. Select
Tools -> Motor Database…
The
Pilz Motor Database
window appears.
2. Enter the motor's type code.
You'll find the type code on the motor's type plate. Make your entries
using buttons (1) or (2).
Example: PMCtendo AC2.32/0/M/X/X/X/H/6

Download the motor data to the servo amplifier
1. Click
Apply
to download the parameters to the servo amplifier.
Or click on
Export Parameter File
if you wish to save the parameters
in a file.
A dialogue box opens.
