Setting the station address
Valid values for the station address are 0 … 63

Use the two rotary switches under “Address” to set the station ad-
dress.
There are three ways in which you can set the servo amplifier's station
address:
Flashes green
The device is online and is running normally. The connec-
tions are not established.
- The device has passed the Dup_MAC_ID test and is online,
but the connections to other nodes are not yet established.
- This device has not been assigned to a master.
- Configuration is missing, incomplete or invalid
Flashes red
Recoverable error and/or at least one I/O connection is in
wait status.
Red
- An unrecoverable error has occurred on the device. It may
need to be exchanged.
- Communication device has failed. The device has detected
an error that's preventing communication with the network
(e.g. duplicated MAC ID or BUSOFF).

There are two options:
1.
You can set the station address using
the ASCII commands DNMACID x,
SAVE, COLDSTART. "x" represents
the station address.
2.
You can set the station address via the
DeviceNet object (Class 0x03, Attribute
1). You can use a DeviceNet commis-
sioning tool to do this. You must save
the parameters in non-volatile memory
(Class 0x25, Attribute 0x65) and restart
the drive after changing the address.
