How to Send and test specific Commands (See Figure 71 above):
• Command Field: If you know the full command, you can just type it here. Do not include
checksum.
• File name Field: If the command has a file name, you can type the name as it appears
under Clip ID. The program will convert it to “hex” and show the result under “Full
Command.”
• Timecode: If the command has a timecode, you can type it as HH:MM:SS:FF. The
program will convert it to FF:SS:MM:HH which is the standard Sony 9-pin protocol
representation.
• Full command: shows the full command that will be sent to the device
• Reply: Shows the device’s response to the command sent.
• Click on Send to send the command.
• Click on Clear to clear an entry box.
