2 To start recording, press the RECORD key again.

When recording starts, the record indicator lights
continuously, and the display shows the elapsed recording
time and the remaining recording time.

3 Press the

/HOME [ª] key to end recording and

create the audio file.

To pause recording, press the RECORD key. Press the

RECORD key again to restart recording in the same
track. If you press the

/HOME [ª] key after

pausing a recorded audio file up to the moment that you
paused recording is created.

Recording playback and input sounds

together (overdubbing)

By overdubbing, you can play an instrument or sing as you play
back a saved track and mix and record both sounds in a new file.

NOTE

You cannot overdub if input monitoring is OFF or the PRE

REC function is ON.
When overdub recording, you cannot use the AUTO REC

function or start new files manually.
You cannot pause during overdub recording.

The sampling frequency of the playback file is preserved

regardless of the sampling frequency setting for overdub

recording.
Overdubbing and dual recording cannot be conducted at

the same time.

Setting the file type to WAV

1 Press MENU to open the Menu Screen.

2 Use the wheel to select

REC SETTING

(highlighted in

inverse) and press the ENTER/MARK key.
