3 Use the wheel to select the

MODE

and press the ¯ key

or ENTER/MARK key.

4 Use the wheel to select

6 Use the wheel to select

and press the ¯

key or ENTER/MARK key.

7 Use the wheel to select the level that signal is judged to

have been input when it exceeds this level.

Set the value to one of the following selection.

-6dB

12dB

(default)/

-24dB

/

-48dB

8 Press the

/HOME [ª] key to return to the Home

Screen.

9 Press the RECORD (º) key to put the unit into

recording standby.
Recording starts automatically when the input signal
exceeds the

START

LEVEL

.

If the input volume drops below the set level for 5 or more
seconds, recording pauses automatically.

10 Press the

/HOME [ª] key to stop automatic

recording.

CAUTION

Overdub recording is not possible when using the AUTO REC

function.

You can manually or automatically split a recording by creating
a new file.

Creating new files manually while recording

You can manually split a recording by creating a new file.
Press the ¯ key while recording.

NOTE

When new files are created, incremental numbers are added

to the end of each file name.
