RS-232 Communication
The Click 500 series devices also feature RS-232 communication capabilities. The modules
will convert the RS-485 communication moving to and from the T-bus to RS-232. See be-
low for how to connect RS-232 to a laptop. words
Each device has screw terminals (TD and RD) for wiring in RS-232. The devices also have
a DB-9 jack for RS-232 communication with a laptop or other such device. To use, simply
use a straight-through cable to connect the two devices.
