Section 4 Ñ Maintenance
System Power Down Procedure
The following procedure is to be used when removing power from the
system.
1. Press MISC main menu button.
2. Select [SHUT DOWN] .
System warns that shut down halts the frame and requires you to turn
the power OFF and then ON, or press the frameÕs reset button (see
Figure 4-7).

It is now safe to remove AC power from the system, and re-power at a later
time.
NOTE: If you do not use this power down procedure before removing your
systemÕs AC power, you may expect to see corrupted memory and unstable system
operation upon switcher restart.
