Notes:

1. When either forward or reverse jog command is input during run, this command has priority.
2. When both the forward and reverse jog commands are closed for more than 500ms, the

inverter stops according to the stopping method selection (Bl-03).

3. The forward and reverse jog commands can be set independently.

• Fault Reset (setting: “14”)

Closing this contact resets a fault after the fault condition has been removed. The
run command must be removed when resetting a fault.

• Program Lockout (setting: “1B”)

Opening this contact prohibits the changing of VS-616PS5 parameters.

• Analog Reference Sample/Hold Selection (setting: “1E”)

If the contact input closes for 100ms or longer, the analog speed reference is sampled
once, after which the analog speed reference is held.

Note:t1, t3 - Each reference is held for 100ms or longer.
t2 - Reference is held for less than 100ms, generating no frequency sampling.

• Terminal 13/14 Selection (setting: “1F”)

Open:

Terminal 13 is used for the master speed reference.

Closed:

Terminal 14 is used for the master speed reference.

Note:

Terminal 14 Selection, Parameter H3-09, must be set equal to “1F” (not
used) when setting a multifunction input to Value “1F”. Otherwise, an
OPE3 error occurs.

• External Fault (setting: “24”)

Closing this contact causes the inverter to indicate an external fault. Use the follow-
