( 3 ) Token and Data
When the token is passed, data is classified into six patterns as follows.
( 4 ) Frame Interval (Minimum Allowable Frame Interval)
The time from when a local node receives a token until it sends a frame is called a frame interval.
During this time, the minimum time required for each node to send the frame is called the minimum allowable frame
interval.
FL-net shares this minimum allowable frame interval in the network.
For each node, the maximum value of the minimum allowable frame intervals set by nodes joined to the network is cal-
culated and updated each time a node joins/leaves a network.
