2.5.2 Plustek OCR Configuration
If you select Plustek OCR as the OCR application, clicking opens the
Plustek OCR Configuration window. The items and parameters available in this
window are explained as follows:
File Format
This setting determines the file format of the OCR'd result. The following options
are available from the drop-down menu:
· Plain Text (*.txt)
· Rich Text Format (*.rtf)
· MS Excel Document (*.xlsx)
· Portable Document Format (*.pdf)
· MS Word Document (*.docx)
· Electronic Publication (*.epub)
Some file formats may be unavailable on your screen. The
availability of file formats depends on what OCR application programs
supported by DocAction are installed on your system.
Send to
Select a target application to which you want to send the OCR'd results for viewing
and post processing. Click to have DocAction automatically linked an
application that is associated with the file format you specified above. Click
to browse to the desired program folder and select the executable file
(*.exe) of the desired application program. The application is displayed here with
its full file path and execution file name.
