1 Introduction
The main functions of Scanner Utility are: scanner connection checking ,
scanning position alignment , power save (This function may or may not be
available depending on the scanner model you purchase), scanning lamp control
(This function may or may not be available depending on the scanner model you
purchase),
standby mode (This function may or may not be available depending on
the scanner model you purchase), calibrating the scanner (This function may or
may not be available depending on the scanner model you purchase) and
Counter Utility (This function may or may not be available depending on the
scanner model you purchase).
The Scanner Utility program checks to make sure that the scanner software is
properly installed, and the connection between the scanner and computer is
working.
Although we have designed the scanner lock to hold the scanning lamp in place
during shipping, sometimes the refinement of the initial scanning position might be
necessary.
Furthermore, the program allows you to turn the scanning lamp on and off, define
an idle time for the scanning lamp to automatically turn itself off, and set the
scanner to automatically perform calibration (This function may or may not be
available depending on the scanner model you purchase).
The program allows you to disable the standby mode , or define an idle time for the
scanner to automatically enter the standby mode (This function may or may not be
available depending on the scanner model you purchase).
The Counter Utility automatically counts the number of sheets scanned by your
scanner (This function may or may not be available depending on the scanner
model you purchase).
