19.3.1 Responses returned by read command
Responses returned by the
read command vary with the operating mode of the TC63:
• Normal mode: TC63 is switched on by Ignition pin and running in SLEEP, IDLE, TALK or DATA mode.
Charger is not connected. The
read command indicates the battery capacity and the current con-
sumption of the application (if value of application was specified before as
).
• Normal mode + charging: Allows charging while TC63 is switched on by Ignition pin and running in SLEEP,
read command returns only charger status and current consump-
tion of the application. Percentage of battery capacity is not available.
• CHARGE ONLY mode: Allows charging while TC63 is detached from GSM network. When started, the mode
is indicated by the URC "
". The

ways to activate the CHARGE ONLY mode:
- from POWER DOWN mode: Connect charger while the TC63 was powered down with
