Figure 6-2. Xplay’s Layout settings

Playlist view: This setting determines how the currently loaded playlist is displayed in
the Playlist Editor. Xplay offers the following three (3) playlist views in the Playlist Editor:
None - The Playlist Editor is not displayed at all in the Xplay window. No playlists can

be manually loaded or displayed. See

page 3-25

for more information.

Standard - The playlist is displayed in the Playlist Editor as a single list, showing all

elements in the order in which they were saved or positioned. See

page 3-26

for more

information.

ByDevice - The playlist is broken down and displayed in the Playlist Editor as multiple

playlists, with one list for each device configured in Xplay. The device’s playlist is
shown opposite the View for the corresponding device. Each list only shows those
elements that target the associated device. See

page 3-26

for more information.

Show embedded message window: Displays the message window as an embedded
window below the playlist, rather than a pop-up window.

Show enlarge window: Opens an embedded window below the playlist. When Xplay
is in Multi-Device Layout mode, the contents of a device’s device pane can be
displayed in this enlarged window by enabling the E

in OnAir-Preview Layout mode, the enlarged window is black and not available for use.
