As Run Log Format: The As Run Log files can be created in either the Vertigo or OSI
formats, which are described in

“Vertigo File Format”

(below) and

“OSi File Format” on page

6-29

. To set the format, select either V

ERTIGO

or OSI from the drop-down list.

As Run Log Frequency: Determines when a new As Run Log file is generated, as well as
into which As Run Log file the current entries will appear. You may choose from either P

ER

P

LAYLIST

or W

EEKLY

. Note that the Frequency setting also has an effect on the log file’s

naming convention. See

“Vertigo File Format”

(below) and

“OSi File Format” on page 6-29

for more information.

First Day Of Week:

Write As Run Log Header: When OSI is selected as the As Run Log Format and this
setting is enabled, a header record is added within a newly created As Run Log file.
Note that if a playlist stops and restarts, no new header is created. When this setting is
disabled, no header is created in the As Run Log file.

Station Call Letters: Enter the station’s call letter that you want to appear in the As
Run log header.

Vertigo File Format

When the Vertigo format is selected, the name of the As Run log file depends upon the A

S

R

L

OG

F

REQUENCY

setting. If the A

S

R

UN

L

OG

F

REQUENCY

setting is set to P

ER

P

LAYLIST

,

then the file name is based upon the date of the first log entry (e.g. 30-09-2009.asr).
However, if the A

S

R

UN

L

OG

F

REQUENCY

setting is set to W

EEKLY

, the log file is automatically

named using the 52-week calendar convention (e.g. week40.asr).

Each time a playlist element is taken to air, an entry is recorded in the log file. The format
the entries is in Vertigo format is as follows:

Date played: The date that the element was played on air. (DD-MM-YYYY)

Timestamp: The time at which the element was played on air. (HH:MM:SS, on a 24-hour
