Lightly oil the rubber gasket on the new oil filter.

6.

Manually screw in the new filter until the gasket is flush.

7.

Tighten the filter another half-turn.

8.

Check the oil level.

9.

Check the oil pressure.

10.

Check the oil filter cartridge and make sure there are no
leaks.

Replacing Fuel Filter

WHEN WORKING ON THE FUEL SYSTEM, MAKE SURE THERE
ARE NO OPEN FLAMES OR SPARKS IN THE AREA. DO NOT
SMOKE WHEN WORKING ON THE FUEL SYSTEM.

1.

Wipe the area around the filter to clean any dirt from the
area.

2.

Undo the fuel filter cartridge and spin off.

3.

Catch any escaping fuel.

4.

Clean any dirt from the filter carrier sealing surface.

5.

Apply a light film of oil or diesel fuel to the rubber gas-
ket of the new filter cartridge.

6.

Manually screw in the new filter until the gasket is flush.

7.

Tighten the fuel filter cartridge with a final half-turn.

8.

Open the fuel shut-off valve.

9.

Check for leaks.

Cleaning Fuel Strainer

WHEN WORKING ON THE FUEL SYSTEM, MAKE SURE THERE
ARE NO OPEN FLAMES OR SPARKS IN THE AREA. DO NOT
SMOKE WHEN WORKING ON THE FUEL SYSTEM.

1.

Unscrew the hexagonal nut (1).

2.

Remove the fuel strainer cover (2).

3.

Clean the fuel strainer with diesel fuel, replace if neces-
sary.

4.

Place the seal (3) in position.

5.

Install the fuel strainer cover (2) in position and tighten
the hexagonal screw (1).

6.

Check for leaks.
