Define Target Connections
for Standard and Safety
Data To support peer-to-peer communication, you must assign application
signals to define target connections to which a peer scanner or other
CIP Safety originator or standard master will connect. Review the
guidelines for creating a distinction between safety and standard
signals on page 1-4.
