Add High-Speed Safety
Protocol to the GuardPLC
Controller Resource To add High-Speed Safety Protocol (HSP) to your GuardPLC
controller:
1. Right-click on the Protocols folder under your Resource and
select New>HSP Protocol.
2. Configure HSP communications. Right-click on HSP Protocol
and select Properties.
The Controller Receive Timeout is the amount of time that the
controller waits to receive an HSP response from the scanner
before closing the HSP connection.
Controller Resend Timeout is the amount of time that the
controller waits for the acknowledgement of a message before it
resends it.
