In this section you will learn about the following:
• Verify the SQL Data Access Server Status (page 142)
• Connect to the AF and Historian Servers with PI SQL
For detailed information on the SQL Data Access Server and SQL
queries, refer to the PI SQL Query Compendium.
The compendium is available on the toolbar of the SQL
Commander.
To verify the SQL Data Access Server status:
1. Go to
Start > Administrative Tools > Services. The Services
dialog box appears.
2. In the right pane, find the PI SQL Data Access Server service.
3. Make sure that its status reads Started.
