2. Log on to the FactoryTalk Directory.
3. In the Explorer tree of the FactoryTalk Administration
Console dialog box, go to System > Connections >
Historical Data.
4. Right-click Production Historian, and select Properties. The
Historian Server Connection Properties dialog box appears.
5. Click the Point Sources tag.
6. Under Interface Type Allocation, type
PINotifications-InternalUse.
7. Under Limit, type the limit for the notification licenses.
8. Click Apply.
To restart the Historian server:
1. Stop the server:
1. Go to
Start > All Programs > Rockwell Software >
FactoryTalk Historian SE.
2. Right-click Stop FactoryTalk Historian SE, and then
select Run as administrator.
The server stopping process begins. The progress is
displayed in the Command Prompt window.
