machine with the AF service installed to the Windows
AFServers local user group, which is created during the
installation of the Asset Framework.

NOTE

See "Manually Create or Upgrade the AF SQL Database

(page 55)" for more information.

The Installation Progress page appears. It lists the

components that are going to be installed. The status of the
installation is displayed in the Status column of the

component table.

12. Click Install to start the installation.
13. Wait until the components are installed. The installation time

will vary depending on the selected installation mode and the
computer performance. The installation status is displayed on
the progress bar below the component table.

14. On the Installation Wizard Completed page, click Show the

installation log, if you want to view the installation log after
the installation wizard closes.

15. Click Finish to exit the installation wizard.

The FactoryTalk Historian SE server is installed with the following
FactoryTalk Historian components:

• FactoryTalk Historian server
• FactoryTalk Historian Live Data Interface
• Historian Interface Configuration Utility (ICU)
