3. Right-click the name of your Asset Framework server, and
then click Connect.
The connection is indicated with a green dot on the AF server
icon.
4. Under Elements, click your Historian module database
(ModuleDB).
5. Click the Attributes tab.
6. Right-click in the tab area, and select New Attribute.
The attribute area of the dialog box is activated.
7. In the Name text box, change the name of the attribute to one
of your choosing.
8. From the Value Type list, select the type of the attribute value.
9. From the Data Reference list, select PI Point.
10. Click Settings. The PI Point Data Reference dialog box
appears.
11. Click
. The Tag Search dialog box appears.
12. Type the name of the tag in the text box, or click Search.
13. Select the tag from the tag list, and then click OK.
