"A previous version of the AF Server has been detected on this
computer.

This installation may make update changes to the existing AF
database. After these changes are complete, a downgrade to the
AF database will not be possible.

If you wish to make a backup of your current AF installation
before continuing with this installation, exit now by clicking the
Cancel button.

If you wish to continue with this installation, click the Next
button."

10. Click Next.

The Installation Progress page appears. It lists the
components that are going to be installed. The status of the
installation is displayed in the Status column of the
component table.

11. Click Install to start the installation.
12. Wait until the components are installed. The installation time

will vary depending on the selected installation mode and the
computer performance. The installation status is displayed on

the progress bar below the component table.

NOTE

The upgrade will be performed according to the installation
mode you have selected during the first installation of Asset
Framework. See "Installation Modes for FactoryTalk Historian

Asset Framework (page 29)" for details.

13. On the Installation Wizard Completed page, click Show the

installation log, if you want to view the installation log after

the installation wizard closes.

14. Click Finish to exit the installation wizard.

NOTE

If you have upgraded Asset Framework without executing the

database scripts, see "Manually Create or Upgrade the AF SQL
Database (page 55)".
