Closing all databases
1 Select program part Database.
2 Click on menu item File ▶ Close all….
All opened databases will be closed.
9.4.4 Creating database
How to proceed?
1 Select program part Database.
2 Click on the symbol or menu item File ▶ Database manager….
The dialog window Database manager opens.
3 Click on the menu item Edit ▶ New....
The dialog window New database opens.
4 Enter a name for the new database.
5 Click on [OK].
The dialog window Properties - Database - 'Database name'
opens for editing the database properties.
Note
The database name must be unambiguous in the whole Client/Server
system.
6 On the tab General enter a comment on the database in the field
Comment.
7 On tab Access rights, define access rights for reading and editing the
new database for the different user groups.
8 On tab Backup, define backup monitoring and automatic backup for
the new database.
